Truck Compatibility for ZoomRoom® Installation
If you own a truck that doesn't align with our supported makes and cab styles, we may still be able to assist you. Please send us a message through our contact us page to express your interest, and we will reach out to discuss it further.
Supported Pickup Truck Makes:
- Ram
- Ford
- Chevy
- We are open to discussing other makes as well.
Supported Years: Late 1990s to present
Supported Cab Styles:
- Mega (SuperCrew) - See trailers & bed sizes below for more information.
- Crew (Quad, Double) - The rear doors are the same width as the front doors.
- Extended (Super, Club, King, Xtra, Access) - This style restricts trailer options to a ball hitch or gooseneck.
- Standard (Regular) - Also restricts trailer options to a ball hitch or gooseneck.

Trailers & Bed Sizes:
You will require a minimum of 22" from the rear of your cab for items in your truck bed or trailer to safely clear the ZoomRoom installation.
- Fifth Wheel - A long (8-foot) bed is necessary.
- Gooseneck - A short (6-foot) or long (8-foot) bed is acceptable, but for the short bed, the trailer neck must angle away from the cab.
Auxiliary Tank and Tool Box: As long as the tank or box are lower than the sides of the truck bed, they will not interfere with the ZoomRoom installation.
Tonneau Cover: The cover will need to be either removed or adapted to fit around the support structure of the ZoomRoom.
Special Considerations:
- 2016 and older Fords will require a custom box brace.
- Chevy and Ram models pre-2016 will need a custom install due to the wrap-over doors.
- Fords equipped with a factory sunroof will necessitate additional work to strengthen the roof.
